How to Cook Pigs Feet?

Rinse the pigs feet thoroughly under cold water

Scrub off any remaining dirt or hair

Soak them in cold water for 30 minutes if needed

Place the pigs feet in a large pot

Cover with fresh water

Add salt, onion, garlic, bay leaves, and pepper if desired

Bring to a boil over medium-high heat

Skim off any foam that rises to the top

Reduce heat to low

Cover and simmer for 2 to 4 hours until tender

Check occasionally and add more water if needed

Remove the pigs feet from the pot

Season or sauce as desired

Serve hot
