Preheat the oven to 375°F
Line a baking sheet or oven-safe dish with foil
Place the ham steak in the prepared dish
Brush both sides with a little oil, butter, or glaze if desired
Cover loosely with foil
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes
Remove the foil
Bake for 5 to 10 more minutes until heated through and lightly browned
Check that the internal temperature reaches 140°F for pre-cooked ham
Let rest for 2 to 3 minutes before serving
