How To Cook Quinoa?

Rinse 1 cup quinoa under cold water in a fine-mesh strainer

Combine quinoa and 2 cups water (or broth) in a saucepan

Add a pinch of salt (optional)

Bring to a boil over high heat

Reduce heat to low and cover

Simmer 15 minutes

Turn off heat and let sit, covered, 5 minutes

Fluff with a fork

Serve or cool for later use
