Open the PDF document in a PDF reader
Select the text with the cursor
Right-click the selected text
Click Copy
Paste the text into the desired location
Use Ctrl+C on Windows or Command+C on Mac if right-click is unavailable
If the PDF is scanned, use OCR software first
If copying is restricted, check document permissions or use an allowed method
