Plan the cable path from the TV to the outlet and devices

Run HDMI and other AV cables inside the wall using a cable pass-through
Use a cable wall plate at the TV location and another at the device location
Hide power cords in a surface-mounted cord cover if in-wall routing is not possible
Bundle loose cables with Velcro ties
Route excess cable length behind the TV or inside the media console
Use a cable raceway painted to match the wall
Mount a power strip inside the media console or behind furniture
Secure cables with adhesive clips along the wall or baseboard
Keep power cables separated from low-voltage signal cables when possible

Conceal devices in a cabinet or on a shelf below the TV
