How To Cut A Onion?

Peel off the dry outer skin

Cut off the top end

Leave the root end attached

Slice the onion in half from top to root

Place one half flat-side down on the cutting board

Make vertical cuts toward the root, without cutting through the root

Make horizontal cuts if you want smaller pieces

Slice downward across the onion to dice it

Repeat with the other half

Remove the root end at the end
