Clear countertops, tables, and floors of all items
Remove trash and replace the bag
Gather cleaning supplies
Wash dishes and empty the sink
Dust ceiling corners, vents, light fixtures, and tops of cabinets
Wipe cabinet fronts, handles, and switches
Clean backsplash and wall spots
Clean countertops with an appropriate cleaner
Clean and disinfect sink, faucet, and drain area
Scrub stovetop, burner grates, knobs, and range hood
Clean inside and outside of microwave
Wipe exterior of refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, and small appliances
Clean inside refrigerator and discard expired items
Clean oven interior if needed
Clean cabinet and drawer interiors if needed
Sweep floor edges and under appliances
Mop the kitchen floor
Clean baseboards and door frames
Replace clean liners, towels, and sponges
Put items back in organized order
