Open the Word document
Click anywhere on the extra page
Go to the Home tab
Click the Show/Hide ¶ (paragraph marks) button
If the extra page is caused by paragraph marks, delete the extra ¶ marks on the blank page
If the extra page is caused by a page break, select the Page Break line and press Delete
If the extra page is caused by a section break, select the Section Break (next page/continuous) and press Delete
If the extra page is caused by a table, select the table content on that page and delete it
If the extra page is caused by an empty text box or shape, click the object on the page and press Delete
Check for hidden objects: go to Home → Select → Selection Pane, then delete the object
If the extra page is caused by margins/spacing, select the text above the extra page and go to Layout → Margins (choose Normal) and Layout → Paragraph (set spacing to 0 or adjust as needed)
If the extra page is caused by header/footer settings, double-click the header or footer area and remove content or extra spacing, then close
If needed, replace remaining breaks: press Ctrl + H, leave Find blank, click More → Format → Special → Page Break, then delete matches
Save the document
