Open the Facebook app on your mobile device
Tap your profile picture (menu)
Tap Settings and privacy
Tap Settings
Tap Accounts Center (or “Account settings”)
Tap Personal details
Tap Account ownership and control
Tap Deactivation or deletion
Select Delete account
Tap Continue to account deletion
Choose a reason for deleting
Tap Continue
Review the information on the screen
Tap Delete account
Enter your password if prompted
Tap Continue
Confirm deletion when asked
Keep the account inactive during the deletion period shown on your screen (you can’t cancel after the final confirmation step)
