Open the Facebook app or go to facebook.com
Tap/click your profile picture or your name to go to your profile
Tap/click Edit profile
Tap/click your Name
Enter your new name
Tap/click Review change or Save
If prompted, enter your password
If Facebook requests verification, upload the required ID and submit
Wait for the change to be approved, then check your profile to confirm the update
