Power off the PS5 and disconnect the controller
Remove the thumbstick caps
Remove the rear shell screws
Insert a plastic pry tool between the front and rear shell
Release the clips around the edge of the controller
Separate the rear shell from the front shell
Disconnect the battery connector
Remove the battery
Disconnect the ribbon cables
Remove the internal screws
Lift out the main board assembly
Remove the triggers and shoulder buttons if needed
Remove the analog sticks, speaker, and other components as needed
Keep track of all screws, clips, and cables during disassembly
