Check the concentration on the label before disposal
For small amounts of household hydrogen peroxide, pour it slowly down the sink with plenty of running water
Rinse the container thoroughly with water before recycling or discarding it
Keep hydrogen peroxide away from heat, flames, and incompatible chemicals during disposal
Do not mix hydrogen peroxide with bleach, vinegar, ammonia, or other cleaners
For large quantities, contact your local hazardous waste facility or waste authority
Follow the instructions on the product label and local disposal regulations
Wear gloves and eye protection if handling a concentrated solution
If the container is pressurized or specially formulated, dispose of it as directed by the manufacturer
Store any remaining product in its original container until it can be disposed of properly
