Open Instagram and go to the profile with the highlight
Tap the highlight you want to save
Open each story in the highlight
Tap the three-dot menu if download is available
Select Save, Save Photo, or Save Video
If no download option appears, use screen recording on your phone
On iPhone, open Control Center and start Screen Recording
On Android, use the built-in Screen Recorder or a trusted screen recording app
Stop the recording after the highlight finishes
Open your gallery or Photos app to find the saved file
Trim the recording if needed
If you own the account, use Instagram’s data download tool to export your content
Go to Instagram settings and request a download of your information
Save the downloaded highlight files from the archive when available
