Open the Instagram app or website
Go to the story you want to download
Take a screenshot for a photo story
Use screen recording for a video story
Use Instagram’s save option if it is your own story
Open your profile and tap Archive if the story is yours
Select the story and tap More options
Tap Save photo or Save video
Use a trusted third-party story downloader if you have permission
Paste the story link into the downloader
Download the story from the tool
Check your device gallery or downloads folder
