Draw a rectangle or square for the present box
Add a vertical line down the center
Add a horizontal line across the center
Draw two ribbon strips crossing over the box
Extend the ribbon strips slightly beyond the edges
Add a bow on top where the ribbons meet
Draw two loops for the bow
Add two ribbon tails hanging down
Outline the present with clean lines
Erase any extra guide lines
Add patterns, stripes, or dots if desired
Color the box and ribbon
