Rinse with cold water
Mix food coloring with a small amount of water and vinegar
Place pasta in a bowl or zip-top bag
Add the dye mixture to the pasta
Stir or shake until evenly coated
Let the pasta sit until the color is absorbed
Spread the pasta on paper towels or a tray
Let it dry completely
Store the dyed pasta in a sealed container if needed
