Gather ribbon or fabric
Cut the ribbon to the desired length
Fold one end into a loop
Fold the other end into a matching loop
Cross the loops over each other
Pull one loop through the center opening
Tighten the knot gently
Adjust both loops to be even
Fluff and shape the bow
Trim the ends if needed
