Open the PDF in the Files app, Mail, or another app that supports PDF viewing
Tap the Markup icon
Use the pen, highlighter, eraser, text, signature, or magnifier tools to edit
Tap the plus icon to add text, a signature, shapes, or a note
Tap Done to save the changes
Use the Books app to open a PDF and access Markup tools
Use the Files app to rename, move, or share the edited PDF
Use a third-party PDF editor app from the App Store for advanced edits
Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat, PDF Expert, or similar app
Use the app’s edit tools to change text, images, pages, or annotations
Save or export the edited PDF back to your iPhone
