Open the app that contains the trash, such as Photos, Mail, or Files
Go to the Trash, Recently Deleted, or Bin folder
Tap Select
Choose the items you want to delete
Tap Delete or Delete All
Confirm the deletion if prompted
In Photos, open Albums, scroll to Recently Deleted, then tap Delete All or Delete Selected
In Mail, open Mailboxes, go to Trash, then tap Edit and Delete All or delete individual messages
In Files, open Browse, tap Recently Deleted, then tap Select and Delete or Delete All
In Notes, open Recently Deleted, then tap Edit and Delete All or delete individual notes
In Voice Memos, open Recently Deleted, then tap Delete All or delete individual recordings
In Messages, delete messages or attachments manually if needed
Empty the trash in each app separately, since iPhone does not have one universal trash folder
