Open Instagram and go to your profile
Tap the menu icon
Tap Settings and privacy
Tap Accounts Center
Tap Your information and permissions
Tap Upload contacts
Turn on contact syncing if it is off
Go back to your profile
Tap the menu icon
Tap Discover people
View suggested accounts from your contacts
Use the search bar to look for names from your phone contacts
Check suggested profiles that may be linked to your contacts
