How To Fit Lino Flooring?

Remove the old flooring and any adhesive residue

Check the subfloor is dry, clean, smooth, and level

Repair cracks, holes, and uneven areas

Acclimatise the lino in the room for the recommended time

Measure the room carefully

Add extra material for trimming and fitting

Plan the layout and direction of the sheet or tiles

Mark out the floor and cut the lino to size

Dry fit the lino before fixing it down

Apply the recommended adhesive to the subfloor

Lay the lino into the adhesive carefully

Smooth out air bubbles from the centre outward

Use a roller to press the lino firmly into place

Trim the edges neatly with a sharp knife

Fit any joins tightly and seal them if needed

Refit skirting boards or install edging strips

Clean off any adhesive residue

Leave the floor to set for the recommended time
