Turn off the shower water supply
Remove the shower head
Inspect the shower head for mineral buildup, debris, or damage
Clean the shower head with vinegar or a descaling solution
Replace the rubber washer or O-ring if worn or cracked
Wrap plumber’s tape around the shower arm threads
Reattach the shower head securely
Turn the water back on and check for leaks
Replace the shower head if it is cracked or still dripping
Call a plumber if the leak continues from the pipe or valve
