Use the Sims 4 repair function in EA app or Steam
Delete the localthumbcache.package file
Remove conflicting mods and custom content
Update all mods after game patches
Repair or reinstall broken custom content
Clear the Sims 4 cache folders
Reset the affected Sim with cheats
Move the Sim to another lot and back
Save, exit, and reload the game
Repair the game files again after updates
Install the latest game patch
Start a new save to test for save corruption
Reinstall the game if the issue persists
