How To Freeze Green Beans?

Wash the green beans

Trim the ends

Cut into desired lengths

Bring a pot of water to a boil

Prepare a bowl of ice water

Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes

Transfer the beans immediately to the ice water

Cool completely

Drain well

Pat dry

Spread the beans in a single layer on a baking sheet

Freeze until firm

Transfer the frozen beans to freezer bags or airtight containers

Remove as much air as possible

Label with the date

Store in the freezer
