Blot up any wet paint immediately with a clean cloth or paper towel
Scrape off dried paint gently with a dull knife or spoon
Mix a small amount of dish soap with warm water
Dampen a cloth with the soapy water and blot the stain
Work from the outside of the stain toward the center
Rinse by blotting with a clean cloth and plain water
Repeat blotting until the paint lifts
Use rubbing alcohol on a cloth for stubborn paint
Blot again with water to remove residue
Dry the area with a clean towel
Vacuum the carpet after it is fully dry
Test any cleaning solution on a hidden area first
