Check the Recently Deleted folder in Messages
Open Messages
Tap Edit or Filters
Tap Show Recently Deleted
Select the messages you want to recover
Tap Recover
Restore from an iCloud backup
Go to Settings
Tap General
Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone
Tap Erase All Content and Settings
Set up the iPhone again
Choose Restore from iCloud Backup
Restore from a computer backup
Connect the iPhone to a Mac or PC
Open Finder or iTunes
Select your iPhone
Choose Restore Backup
Check other Apple devices
Open Messages on iPad, Mac, or another iPhone
Look for the deleted messages if Messages in iCloud is enabled
Contact your carrier
Ask if they keep SMS or MMS records
Request any available message recovery options
Use a third-party recovery tool
Install a trusted iPhone data recovery app
Scan the device or backup
Recover available deleted messages
Turn on Messages in iCloud for future protection
Go to Settings
Tap your name
Tap iCloud
Tap Messages
Turn on Sync this iPhone
