File the shiny top layer of the gel polish gently with a nail file
Soak a cotton ball or pad in acetone
Place the soaked cotton on each nail
Wrap each fingertip tightly with aluminum foil or use nail clips
Wait 10 to 15 minutes
Check one nail and gently lift softened polish with a cuticle pusher or orange stick
Rewrap and soak longer if the polish is still firm
Buff off any remaining bits gently
Wash your hands and apply cuticle oil or hand cream
Do not peel or force the polish off
Do not use metal tools aggressively on the nail surface
