Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil
Place a wire rack on the baking sheet (optional but helps crispness)
Lay bacon strips in a single layer without overlapping
Bake for 12–18 minutes, depending on thickness and desired crispness
Check at 10 minutes and continue baking as needed
Remove bacon with tongs and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain
Serve immediately
