Read the manufacturer’s manual before use
Check that the gasket, valve, and lid are clean and properly fitted
Add the required amount of liquid
Do not fill past the maximum fill line
Place food in the cooker
Close and lock the lid securely
Set the pressure valve to the correct position
Heat the cooker on the stove or turn it on if electric
Wait until pressure is reached
Reduce heat as needed to maintain pressure
Start timing once full pressure is reached
Turn off the heat when cooking is complete
Release pressure using the recommended method
Open the lid only after all pressure is released
Remove food carefully
Clean the cooker after it cools down
