Blot the stain with a clean paper towel or cloth to remove excess dye
Rinse the stained area with cold water from the back of the fabric
Apply liquid laundry detergent or dish soap directly to the stain
Gently rub the fabric together or use a soft brush
Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes
Rinse thoroughly with cold water
Apply white vinegar to the stain if it remains
Rinse again after a few minutes
Use rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide on color-safe fabrics if needed
Test any stain remover on a hidden area first
Wash the clothing in cold water with regular detergent
Check the stain before drying
Repeat the treatment if the stain is still visible
Avoid using heat until the stain is completely gone
