Use vitamin K cream if available
Apply arnica gel if available
Keep the area elevated if possible
Cover the hickey with makeup or a color corrector
Avoid scratching or rubbing the area
Avoid using ice directly on the skin
Avoid aggressive brushing or suction on the area
Seek medical advice if the bruise is very painful, swollen, or not improving
