How To Get Sticker Residue Off?

Use a hair dryer or heat gun on low to warm the sticker for 30–60 seconds, then peel slowly

Pour or spray rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) on the residue, wait 1–2 minutes, then wipe with a cloth

Apply adhesive remover (Goo Gone or similar), wait per label directions, then wipe clean

Soak a cloth in acetone or nail polish remover, dab on residue, then wipe (test on a hidden area first)

Use white vinegar or soapy water for residue that’s not heavy; let sit 5–10 minutes, then scrub gently

Sprinkle baking soda with a little water to form a paste, rub lightly, then wipe and rinse

Use cooking oil or olive oil to dissolve residue; let sit 5–15 minutes, then wipe clean

For glass: scrape carefully with a plastic scraper or old credit card, then wipe with alcohol

For metal or painted surfaces: use rubbing alcohol or adhesive remover; avoid aggressive scraping

For plastic: avoid acetone; use rubbing alcohol or oil-based methods

For fabric: place paper towels over and under the area, then blot with rubbing alcohol, repeating as needed

For stubborn residue: repeat the method and allow longer dwell time before wiping

After removal: wash with dish soap and water, then dry

Test any chemical on a small hidden spot first

Avoid using heat or solvents on surfaces that can be damaged (unsealed wood, some plastics, glossy coatings)
