Rubbing alcohol for glass/metal: apply, wipe clean, then dry
Goo Gone or citrus adhesive remover: apply per label, wait briefly, wipe off, then wash the surface
WD-40: spray lightly, let sit briefly, wipe off, then wash with dish soap and water
Acetone/nail polish remover (test first): apply to a cloth, dab, wipe, then rinse thoroughly
Oil method (for paint-safe areas): apply cooking oil or baby oil, let sit, wipe off, then wash with dish soap
Heat: use a hair dryer to warm the sticker, peel slowly, then remove residue with alcohol or adhesive remover
Plastic scraper/credit card: gently lift loosened residue without scratching
Baking soda paste (gentle): mix baking soda with a little water, rub lightly, rinse and dry
White vinegar (light residue): soak or dab, wait, wipe, then rinse
For fabric: scrape residue, then apply alcohol or adhesive remover to the back side, blot, wash per care label
For carpet: blot with alcohol, then dab with dish-soapy water, blot dry, repeat if needed
For wood: use warm soapy water first; if needed, use minimal alcohol on a cloth and test in an inconspicuous spot
