Check for iOS updates: Settings → General → Software Update
Check TikTok server status: https://www.tiktok.com/about
Force quit TikTok: swipe up from the bottom (or double-press Home) → close TikTok
Restart iPhone
Turn Airplane Mode on for 10 seconds → turn off
Switch Wi‑Fi off/on or switch to mobile data
Toggle VPN off (if enabled)
Disable iCloud Private Relay (if enabled): Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Private Relay
Update or reinstall TikTok: App Store → search TikTok → Update (or Remove App → reinstall)
Clear TikTok cache (if available in-app): TikTok → Profile → Menu → Settings and privacy → Cache (wording may vary)
Sign out and back in: Profile → Menu → Settings and privacy → Log out → log back in
Check Date & Time: Settings → General → Date & Time → Set Automatically
Ensure Background App Refresh is on: Settings → General → Background App Refresh → TikTok
Ensure Cellular Data is allowed (if using mobile data): Settings → Cellular → TikTok → On
Delete and reinstall TikTok if the app won’t open or keeps crashing
Reset network settings: Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings
