How to Go into Labor Faster?

Talk to your obstetrician, midwife, or labor and delivery unit before trying anything

Wait until your due date or later unless your clinician advises otherwise

Walk or stay lightly active if your clinician says it is safe

Change positions often and use an exercise ball if approved

Have sex only if your clinician says it is safe and your water has not broken

Stimulate nipples only if your clinician specifically approves it

Try relaxation, breathing, and rest

Stay hydrated and eat light meals if allowed

Use methods recommended by your clinician for cervical ripening or induction

Go to the hospital or call your clinician right away if you have contractions, leaking fluid, bleeding, decreased fetal movement, severe pain, or any urgent symptoms
