Choose a ripe pineapple with a sweet smell and firm flesh
Cut off the top and bottom
Slice off the skin
Remove the eyes
Cut into rings, wedges, or spears
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat
Lightly oil the grill grates
Brush the pineapple with oil or melted butter
Optional: sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, or salt
Place pineapple on the grill
Grill for 2 to 4 minutes per side
Turn once grill marks appear
Remove when caramelized and tender
Serve warm
