Wait until parsley has at least 6–8 stems and is 6–8 inches tall
Use clean scissors or garden shears
Cut outer stems first, starting near the base of the plant
Leave the inner stems and center growth intact
Harvest no more than one-third of the plant at a time
Pick leaves from the top for a small harvest if needed
Cut stems above a leaf node to encourage regrowth
Harvest regularly to keep the plant producing
Remove any yellow, damaged, or flower stems
Rinse harvested parsley and pat it dry
Store fresh parsley in the refrigerator or dry it for later use
