Microwave in a microwave-safe bowl
Cover loosely with a lid or damp paper towel
Heat in short intervals, stirring between each
Add a little milk, cream, butter, or water if needed
Reheat on the stovetop over low heat
Stir frequently to prevent sticking or burning
Add a splash of liquid if the potatoes are too thick
Heat in the oven in a covered dish at a low temperature
Stir once or twice during oven reheating
Check that the potatoes are heated evenly before serving
