Use a micro-USB cable to connect the PS4 controller to your PC
Wait for Windows to install the controller driver automatically
Open Steam and go to Settings
Select Controller
Enable PlayStation Configuration Support
Open a game and test the controller
For wireless use, turn on Bluetooth on your PC
Put the PS4 controller in pairing mode by holding Share and PS button until the light bar flashes
On your PC, open Bluetooth settings
Add a new Bluetooth device
Select Wireless Controller from the list
Pair the controller
If needed, use DS4Windows for better compatibility with non-Steam games
Install DS4Windows
Follow the setup prompts to install required drivers
Connect the controller by USB or Bluetooth
Launch DS4Windows and verify the controller is detected
