Select the text or item you want to copy
Press Command (⌘) + C to copy
Move the cursor to where you want to paste
Press Command (⌘) + V to paste
To cut instead of copy, press Command (⌘) + X
To paste with options (if available), right-click and choose a paste option or use the Edit menu
To copy and paste a file, select the file(s), press Command (⌘) + C, then paste with Command (⌘) + V in the destination folder
