Check whether your Mac uses Intel or Apple silicon
Back up your Mac with Time Machine or another backup method
Download the Windows ISO from Microsoft
On Intel Mac, open Boot Camp Assistant from Applications > Utilities
Follow Boot Camp Assistant prompts to create a Windows partition
Select the Windows ISO and set the partition size
Install Windows when the Mac restarts
Choose the BOOTCAMP partition during Windows setup
Format the BOOTCAMP partition if prompted
Complete the Windows installation
Install Boot Camp drivers after Windows starts
On Apple silicon Mac, use a Windows virtual machine app such as Parallels Desktop, VMware Fusion, or UTM
Install the virtual machine app on macOS
Create a new virtual machine and select the Windows ISO
Allocate CPU, memory, and storage for the virtual machine
Install Windows inside the virtual machine
Install guest tools or integration software for better performance
Activate Windows with a valid license key
Keep macOS and Windows updated
Use Boot Camp only on supported Intel Macs
Use virtualization on Apple silicon Macs
