Open the Facebook app or go to Facebook.com and log in
Tap/click your profile picture (or your name) to open your profile
Tap/click the three dots ( ) or More options
Select View as
Check who can see your profile content
Go to Settings & privacy
Tap/click Settings
Select Privacy
Review settings for:
Who can see your posts
Who can see your future posts
Limit past posts
Who can send you friend requests
Who can look you up using your email/phone number
Do you want search engines outside of Facebook to link to your profile
Set “Who can see your posts” to Friends (or Only me, if available)
Set “Who can see your future posts” to Friends (or Only me, if available)
Turn on “Limit past posts”
Restrict audience for your Stories (if applicable)
Review Profile information visibility (About, Work, Education, Places lived, etc.) and set to Friends or Only me where available
Remove or restrict people from your Friends list who you don’t want seeing your content
Check and adjust blocking/privacy settings for specific people (if needed)
