Set the units and scale
Create the basic shape
Add details and features
Keep the model manifold and watertight
Avoid non-printable overhangs and thin walls
Check wall thickness and tolerances
Use symmetry and reference images if needed
Merge or separate parts as needed
Apply smoothing or bevels if desired
Inspect for holes, flipped normals, or intersecting geometry
Export the model as STL, OBJ, or 3MF
Open the file in slicer software
Repair the model if the slicer reports errors
Orient the model for printing
Add supports if necessary
Slice the model and review layer preview
Save the G-code file
Print a test version
Adjust the model based on the test print
