Choose ribbon with enough width and stiffness for a tree topper
Cut several long ribbon tails and one shorter center piece
Make two large loops on each side of the center
Pinch the center tightly to form the bow shape
Add more loops if you want a fuller bow
Secure the center with floral wire or a zip tie
Fluff and adjust the loops evenly
Trim the ribbon tails at an angle or into V-shapes
Attach the bow to the top of the tree with wire, ties, or a clip
Hide the attachment point with extra ribbon or greenery
