Wash and trim fresh green beans
Cut beans to desired length
Sterilize canning jars, lids, and bands
Pack green beans into hot jars
Add boiling water or hot canning liquid, leaving proper headspace
Remove air bubbles
Wipe jar rims clean
Place lids on jars and tighten bands fingertip-tight
Process jars in a pressure canner at the recommended pressure and time for your altitude
Turn off heat and let pressure return to zero naturally
Remove jars and let cool undisturbed for 12 to 24 hours
Check seals after cooling
Label and store sealed jars in a cool, dark place
