Open Discord and go to the chat where you want to send the GIF
Click the GIF button next to the message box
Search for a GIF using keywords
Select the GIF you want to send
Send the GIF in the chat
To upload your own GIF, click the plus button or drag and drop the GIF file into Discord
Make sure the file is in GIF format
If needed, convert a video or image sequence into a GIF using a GIF maker or editor before uploading
Save the GIF file to your device
Upload the saved GIF into Discord
If you want to use a GIF as an avatar, go to User Settings
Open the profile or avatar settings
Upload the GIF file as your profile picture
Save the changes
