Wash and peel potatoes if desired
Cut potatoes into even fry-shaped strips
Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 20 to 30 minutes
Drain and pat the potatoes completely dry
Toss the potatoes with a little oil
Add salt and any desired seasonings
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F to 400°F
Place the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket
Cook for 15 to 20 minutes
Shake the basket halfway through cooking
Cook until golden and crispy
Remove the fries and season again if needed
Serve immediately
