How To Make Hot Chocolate?

Gather ingredients: milk, cocoa powder, sugar (optional), salt, vanilla extract (optional), chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (optional), whipped cream or marshmallows (optional)

Heat milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat until steaming but not boiling

Whisk in cocoa powder and sugar until smooth

Add a pinch of salt

If using chocolate, add it and stir until melted and fully combined
