Use 1 part white granulated sugar
Use 4 parts water
Boil the water
Stir in the sugar until fully dissolved
Let the mixture cool completely
Pour into a clean hummingbird feeder
Store extra nectar in the refrigerator
Replace with fresh nectar every 2 to 3 days in hot weather
Replace with fresh nectar every 5 to 7 days in cooler weather
Clean the feeder regularly
