Wash the lemons
Roll the lemons on a countertop to loosen the juice
Cut the lemons in half
Squeeze the lemon halves to extract the juice
Strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp if desired
Measure the lemon juice
Add water and sugar to taste if making lemonade
Stir until the sugar dissolves
Serve chilled or over ice
